Jefferson is a filmmaker who lives in the Los Angeles area. With a broad background in all types of production, he has worked in both the commercial and non-profit worlds with clients including Red Bull, Discovery Studios, NFL, Truck Accessories Group, Union Rescue Mission and many others. Branding and brand goals fascinate Jefferson and media that strengthens and bolsters current brands -or- develops new brands are a zealous pursuit.
Passionate about stories that challenge perceptions and change outlooks, Jefferson is always pursuing ways media can impact for good. He sits on the board of directors for AMP (an inner city kids mentorship program), has produced films for TR-BE (an organization that pursues racial reconciliation), and is currently in the process of starting AXIA Collective. He helps to train interns and run camps for One Seventeen Project and also teaches film at The Master’s University part time.
Jefferson and his wife Shannon were foster parents from 2009 to 2019 and have adopted 4 beautiful children out of that system. Their extensive training and experience continue to spur them on to mentor other foster parents and advocate for children in the foster system. They were surprised by a little one in 2018 and now have a busy house with 5 children.
